Jennifer began dancing at the age of four in Greenville, NC under the direction of Marie
Wallace, founder of the dance television show, Danceorama. At age eleven, Jennifer
danced with the Fayetteville Ballet Company and performed parts from Coppelia,
Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker. At the age of fifteen, Jennifer
received a scholarship to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem
for two years with a concentration in Classical Ballet, Ceccheti Method. Jennifer
continued her study of dance at Peace College where she was dance team captain, led
her team in many championships and took top honors at National Competitons.
Jennifer attended UNC Greensboro and graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Dance
Education in 1991. While in college, Jennifer studied with Frank Hatchet, Chuck Davis,
The Joffrey Ballet in New York City, American Dance Festival at Duke University,
Debbie Dee, and Karen Hebert. Jennifer also obtained her Elementary Education
degree and is NC certified to teach grades K-6. Ms. Hofmann has worked in Brunswick
County for nine years as a Teacher at Southport Elementary and now she proudly
teaches children of all ages at her dance studio, On My Toes!
Jennifer thanks her husband John, her son Cole, and her daughter Bella for all of their support!

Ashley Delgado
Irish Dancing, Steps of Praise, Clogging
Ashley’s foundation in dance began at age three in Hilton Head Island, SC, where she
took ballet and tap. Her fascination and love of dance continued to blossom and her
unique repertoire and style now includes the Cechetti method of ballet, Pointe, Lyrical,
Tap, Jazz, Irish Step Dancing, Soft Shoe Irish, Clogging, dance for musical theatre, and
beginner ballroom. Ashley’s dancing technique and expertise were acquired through
multi-dimensional performing arts genres with classes at Coastal Carolina University in
dance for Musical Theatre, drama, and character choreography. In addition, she has
taken classes at Broadway Dance Center and Luigi’s Jazz Centre in New York City,
received training in various dance studios and workshops in North and South Carolina,
and attained experience as she toured in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and North
Carolina with ABC Cloggers and Celtic Storm Dance Troupe. Ashley’s Irish Dance
Troupe performed annually at the Miss North Carolina Pageant in Raleigh, NC from
1996-1998. As a dancer she won many group and solo awards at numerous
competitions. She cannot imagine life without dancing. Ashley is excited to be a part of
the On My Toes dance family and promises to deliver a warm-spirited personal
approach to teaching her students as they celebrate the multiplicity of dance traditions.

Brooke Dove
Hip Hop, Steps of Praise
Brooke has been dancing since age 4 where she grew up in the studios of Rural Hall,
King and Mt. Airy, N.C . She was a competitive dancer from ages 12-17 and began
teaching dance at age 14. She was captain and choreographer of the North Forsyth High
School Valkryies (dance team). She graduated from East Carolina University in 2006
Magna Cum Laude in Dance Education. At E.C.U. she studied ballet, pointe, jazz,
modern, hip-hop and choreography. Her choreography has won regional titles in both
Star Systems and International Dance Challenge competitions. She currently teaches
dance & theater, as well as coaches the dance team at East Columbus High School in
Lake Waccamaw, NC. Brooke was recently married & moved here to Oak Island where
she loves living and dancing near the beach!

Sammi Lawrence
Clogging
Sammi has been dancing for 12 years and has taken Clogging from On My Toes Dance
Studio for 6 years now. Sammi has been on stage since she was a toddler and loves it.
She has choreographed dances for many theater productions such as A Christmas
Carol, Pirates of Penzance, What Made the Clock Rock and We Rock Again. Sammi has
performed on many stages such as Thalian Hall, Amuzu, NCSU’s Stage, Odell
Williamson, UNCW’s Stage and many others. Sammi is certified in First Aid and CPR
and has passed and completed the Babysitters course. Her aspirations are to attend
East Carolina University to Major in dance/performing arts and minor in teaching.
Sammi Lawrence helps coordinate REAL kids at Shoreline Church, is a member of 4-
Hes TiLT (Teens in Leadership Training) team. Sammi is over joyed to be working on
the On My Toes Staff this year sharing her love of clogging with the community.

Haley Hayes
Ballet, Jazz, Tap
Haley Blasi, a native of South Carolina, began her training when she was two years old. At the
age of ten, she was accepted into Ballet Spartanburg's pre-professional program. There she was
taught classical ballet, contemporary dance, tap, jazz, and flamenco. Studying under the
company's artistic director, Carlos Agudelo, as well as Lona Gomez from Pittsburgh Ballet
Theatre, she was awarded a full scholarship by the age of twelve. She danced soloist roles in
ballets such as The Nutcracker, Giselle, Hansel & Gretel, Coppelia, Carmina Burana, and Peter
and The Wolf. She also attended intensives studying under world renowned artists including
Orlando Molina, Oliver Pardina, Lorena Feijoo, Merrill Ashley, and Susan Jaffe. To further her
training, she was accepted into University of South Carolina and became Vice President of the
USC Dance Company. There, she was classically trained by New York City Ballet soloist, Stacey
Calvert, and studied contemporary dance under the direction of Miriam Barbosa of Martha
Graham Dance Company. Haley graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Arts in Dance
Performance and Choreography, dancing soloist roles in Faust, The Sleeping Beauty, Swan
Lake, La Source, Catharsis, Pandora's Box, and Glennie's.
Kelly DiBenedetto
Jazz, Contemporary
Kelly began dancing at the Stewart-Johnson Dance Acedemy in Hamilton, NJ when she
was 3 years old. At the age of 9, she was chosen to be a member of both the Ballet and
Jazz Companies representing her studio. She danced competitively in Ballet, Jazz, Tap,
Lyrical and Hip Hop bringing home top honors each time! During her high school years,
she was an original member of the Steinert High Dance Team, serving as a co-captain
and choreographer during her senior year. After high school, she spent a year teaching
Hip Hop and Musical theatre at Steps and Pirouettes in Yardville, NJ. Now relocating
to the Southport/Supply area Kelly looks forward to sharing her love and talents with
the dancers at OMT.
Danielle LeBlanc
Hip Hop
Danielle has been dancing since she was three years old. She danced competitively in
high school and won the National Title at Access Broadway's National Competition in
New York City in 2006. She is also a trained singer and actress, but her true passion is
dance. Danielle studied psychology at Elon University while dancing on the Elon Dance
Team and the Elon Hip Hop Dance Team, Elon's Finest. Her dance training includes
ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, but she is dedicated to spreading the unique
spirit of hip hop to her students at On My Toes.
