Jennifer began dancing at the age of four in Greenville, NC under the direction of Marie
Wallace, founder of the dance television show, Danceorama.  At age eleven, Jennifer
danced with the Fayetteville Ballet Company and performed parts from
Coppelia,
Giselle, Swan Lake, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker.  At the age of fifteen, Jennifer
received a scholarship to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston Salem
for two years with a concentration in Classical Ballet, Ceccheti Method.  Jennifer
continued her study of dance at Peace College where she was dance team captain, led
her team in many championships and performed at ACC Basketball Games.  Jennifer
attended UNC Greensboro and graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Dance Education in
1991.  While in college, Jennifer studied with Frank Hatchet, Chuck Davis, The Joffrey
Ballet in New York City, American Dance Festival at Duke University, Debbie Dee, and
Karen Hebert.  Jennifer has also obtained her Elementary Education degree and is NC
certified to teach grades K-6.  Ms. Hofmann has worked in Brunswick County for nine
years as a Teacher at Southport Elementary and now she proudly teaches children of
all ages at her dance studio, On My Toes!

Jessica Ives
Hip Hop, Cheer Funk

A native of North Carolina, Jessica grew up on the Outer Banks.  She has over 20 years
of dance experience.  Her dance training began at age three at Island Dance Studio
under the instruction of Sophia Sharp and Mariam Michael.  She trained and performed
with the Tidewater Ballet under Gene Hammett. Jessica has studied with master
teachers such as Johnny Walker, Joe Tramaine, and Frank Hatchett and attended
master classes at Steps on Broadway in NYC.  She performed in The Lost Colony for
three years and with The Sacred Dance Ensemble of Fredericksburg, Virginia. Jessica’s
choreography has been featured locally in Stage II’s productions of Chicago, Children of
Eden, and Guys and Dolls. Jessica is a Graduate of UNCW with a degree in Elementary
Education. She currently teaches at Southport Elementary and has been a dance
instructor at On My Toes for three years. She is the mother of two wonderful girls,
Savana and Elena. As a mother, teacher, performing artist, and choreographer, Jessica
is dedicated to enriching the lives of others through her love and passion of the fine art
of dance.
Tracy Smith Parker
Clogging, Steps of Praise

Tracy has been dancing for 16 years; 12 of which she has served as an instructor or
assistant. Throughout her dancing career, she has graced such stages as the Clogging
Hall of Fame, the Carowinds Theme Park, and the Opry Land Hotel. Tracy was the
1995 East Coast Clogging Grand Champion and the 1994 first place winner at the South
Carolina Clogging Championships. In 1996, she was awarded a spot on the honorable
Clogging All American Team. She has been a part of the Celebrity Theatre and even
traveled singing and dancing in their variety show. Tracy was the 1998 Miss Coastal
Brunswick County and the 1996 Teen Miss Brunswick County. She also does pageant
coaching and performance training. She enjoys teaching and sharing her passion of the
arts with others. She resides in Supply with her husband Jeremy and her two children,
Isaac and Selah.
Haley Blasi
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Clogging

A native of South Carolina, Haley began her training when she was two years old.  At
the age of ten, she was accepted into Ballet Spartanburg's pre-professional program.  
There, she was taught classical ballet, contemporary dance, tap, jazz, and flamenco.  
Studying under the company's artistic director, Carlos Agudelo, as well as Lona Gomez
from Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, she was awarded a full scholarship by the age of
twelve.  She danced soloist roles in ballets such as
The Nutcracker, Giselle, Hansel &
Gretel
, Coppelia, Carmina Burana, and Peter and The Wolf.  She also attended
intensives studying under world renowned artists including Orlando Molina, Oliver
Pardina, Lorena Feijoo, Merrill Ashley, and Susan Jaffe.  To further her training, she
was accepted into University of South Carolina and became Vice President of the USC
Dance Company. There, she was classically trained by New York City Ballet soloist,
Stacey Calvert, and studied contemporary dance under the direction of Miriam
Barbosa of Martha Graham Dance Company.   Haley graduated from USC with a
Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography.

Haley's goal at On My Toes is to provide her students with an inspiring atmosphere
through teaching proper dance technique and creative choreography, while
simultaneously sharing her absolute love of dance with those around her.
Amanda Romanelli
Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary

Amanda Romanelli is 22 years old and has been dancing for more than ten years.  
She just graduated with honors from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s of
Fine Arts in Dance Education. There she studied technique, improvisation, creative
movement, and composition.  Amanda is currently working with the On My Toes
Competition Jazz Team.  Amanda also teaches dance at West Brunswick High
School and coaches the dance team there.
